The island is going to be reopening. Our four weeks of full lockdown is ending tomorrow morning, and Bermuda will be reopening in a phased approach. The first phase will allow restaurants to reopen for delivery and curbside pickup. There are a couple of other retail businesses allowed to open under the same conditions, but for many, the restaurants are a big deal.

I know we plan to place an order somewhere this weekend. If nothing else it will be a mini adventure for the kids to have some food delivered.

Also, on the plus side, May is my favourite month in Bermuda, weather-wise. The warm, sunny days coupled with light breezes and relatively low humidity make it about as nice as you can get. I spent most of the day today working outside as the wind was in a favourable direction. It was very nice, and more productive than I expected.

Things I am grateful for:

  • Getting out of full lockdown
  • Static site generators
  • Weekends
