The Hanged Man

K. D. Edwards Book cover for The Hanged Man

This week is a short week, in that this coming Friday is a holiday. Now that every day feels like a weekend, the implications are different. You might think that the weekend has less impact now, but I think I actually enjoy weekends more now. When I think about it, it isn’t that I enjoy weekends more, it is that I enjoy weekdays less.

In any case, Easter is coming, which for Bermuda will be bittersweet as Easter is typically a social holiday involving beaches and kites. I expect that there will still be people flying kites dangerously from their properties, but there certainly won’t be any gathering on the beaches. Not in the middle of a lock down. Fortunately the Easter bunny is not locked down and can still hide some eggs around the house.

Things I’m grateful for:

  • Health care workers
  • Sunshine
  • Family
