Shelter In Place
Journey of the Pharaohs
Clive CusslerToday is the first day of a two week lockdown as I mentioned yesterday. So far, not really different than any other day for the past two weeks. It does feel quieter outside, although that may just be my imagination as it is very windy again today, and I realistically couldn’t hear much else anyway.
On a more interesting note, at least for me, I discovered a puzzle competition being put on by Harvard this weekend. Information is available on the competition site. I’ve teamed up (informally because I don’t think we’ve registered) with a colleague in Vancouver and we are making some progress. I don’t have a huge amount of time to devote to it, particular since I seem to insist on writing these articles, and walking 10K+ steps. However, I’m certainly able to spend 30 minutes on them. And they need all the time one can give them as I easily spent three hours on them last night.
I will report Monday or Tuesday how well we did with the rest of the questions, but it isn’t too late to take a stab at them if you are interested in a challenge.
I will mention it as something I’m grateful for, but I’ve found, given my lack of access to a printer, that being able to use my iPad/Apple Pencil to mark up images and PDF documents to be super helpful.
Things I’m grateful for:
- My kids
- Social distancing
- Apple Pencil
