My Interests

Interests? You are looking at one of them. I enjoy all kinds of things ranging from camping to programming to dancing.

Computers are probably my primary interest currently. I enjoy web design and development. I like programming mostly: Visual Basic, Delphi, C, JavaScript, whatever I get my hands on. I have a number of programs and a website (http://www.crosswinds.net/~rhombus) devoted to this particular interest. I am starting a Computer Science degree program at Dalhousie University next year and hope to get further involved in what I hope to make into a career.

Another large interest I have is that of Electronic music. I love dancing and every other responce I can get to various genres from Trance to Drum ‘n’ Bass. I will have a page with links to some great artists, but for now this is available on the Rhombus main page.

I am also big into the whole camping experience, after spending 12+ years involved in Scouts Canada, who wouldn’t be. Generally I am not an outdoors person, but I do enjoy camping and fending for my self in the woods. Most of my experience here is during colder times (October/May) when the bugs aren’t so bad.

I also like to publish things. It started with being the Yearbook editor at school and when I created Rhombus, it took off. That is another reason for me to create web pages, to publish information in print. If I don’t end up programming, then I wish to be in the publishing business.

There are other things that I may get into more detail about later, but I think most people can understand me from what I have said.
