The Hanged Man

K. D. Edwards Book cover for The Hanged Man

I’ve mentioned that Bermuda is on lockdown, and the only places we are allowed to go are the grocery store and the pharmacy. Well, on top of that, the island has been split in two based on surname, with A-L allowed to shop Monday, Wednesday and Friday and M-Z allowed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Sunday is reserved for seniors. Unfortunately, with Good Friday this week, it means that today is the last day that we’ll be able to shop until next Monday.

I’m sure there have been 4-day windows of time when we haven’t gone to the store before, but I can’t think of any off hand, and typically in those cases, there has always been the option. Not needing to go to the store is different than not being able to. I think there is one place that may be open on Friday, but I have no idea what they carry. Honestly, I’m sure we will be fine. I know I will be, but I am mildly concerned that the rest of the family may go feral.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be sleeping in the car. ;)

Things I am grateful for:

  • Not needing to run errands for the next four days.
  • Sunshine (Vitamin D FTW!)
  • A mask that fits well (and kind of make me look like a ninja)
